What is PQQ?

PQQ, or pyrroloquinoline quinone, is a chemical substance from the quinone group. It was discovered in humans just over 20 years ago. It acts as a cofactor for oxidative enzymes. Cofactors are molecules needed by enzymes to catalyze chemical reactions. In short, without cofactors, enzymes are incomplete.

What is Coenzyme Q10?
